here is very personalized and boast a very high repeat clientele.
facilities include the Robinson Crusoe's Restaurant that serves excellent
international dishes. The Man Friday's Patio Bar is a favorite spot on the
beach.

Jakes has become the
model of a simple, hip, upscale 'shacks' that focus on friendly
service, eclectic decor and the culture of the Caribbean.
Don't look to Jakes as
a 'resort' - but as a very comfortable outpost for discovering
the non-touristy side of Jamaica. No TV, computers, air
conditioning - so if 'too much nature' is a problem - go
somewhere else...

Rockhouse is a hip
boutique hotel stretching across the cliffs of Pristine Cove in
Negril. Thatched roofed villas with private sun-bathing decks
are nestled in tropical lush gardens.
The resort boasts a 60
foot, cliff-top horizon pool, a laid back atmosphere, and a
restaurant serving "new Jamaican cuisine" on a balcony suspended
directly over the water. Ladders and stairs carved into the rock
lead down to easy water access for swimming and snorkeling on
the reef.

focus of this gallery are Giclée Prints, a French term meaning
"spray of ink". However, what really caught my eye are their
floor cloths - which are my very favorite Caribbean
tradition. Used as area rugs, these paintings are done on heavy
canvas and last for years. If your walls are already
filled with artwork from years of travel - these will make
fantastic souvenirs - an easy way to bring the Caribbean home...
